The Koeye River Valley is in the heart of the 'Great Bear Rainforest'
and is mostly comprised of old growth coastal temperate rainforest
on the central coast of British Columbia, on Canada's west coast.
The Koeye is recognised worldwide as one of the most strategically
important areas for the protection of old growth coastal rainforests,
grizzly bears and salmon.
