By Ferry: Port Hardy is located near the Northern tip
of Vancouver Island, approximately 6 hours' drive from Victoria,
BC. Parking is available near the ferry terminal for a nominal
fee, and a shuttle can be arranged to transport you to and from
'Bear Cove', the ferry terminal.
The scenic 'Discovery
Coast' ferry cruise operates from June to early September.
The ferry journey from Port Hardy to Bella-Bella (McLoughlin Bay)
is approximately 9 hours each way.
For the rest of the year, the 'Queen of Prince Rupert' cruises
the Inside Passage from Port Hardy to Prince Rupert with mid-coast
stops in McLoughlin Bay (the journey time is approximately 6.5
hours).
